Welcome back, collectors! This week the shelf radar has a new blue blur at the top. Five Nights at Freddy’s is still moving, but Logan’s Toy Chest sales gave us a clear new signal: Sonic’s 35th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Metal Sonic was our strongest product by gross sales over the last week.

⚡ Sonic 35th just moved from “watch” to “winner”

Last week we flagged Sonic anniversary collecting as a category worth watching. The store answered. The Collector’s Edition Metal Sonic with light-up eyes produced three orders and nearly $400 in net sales during the September 7–14 window, making it the strongest product signal in our Shopify sales data.

Collector takeaway: anniversary branding works best when the collectible also brings something display-worthy. Metal Sonic has the character recognition, the 35th-anniversary timing, and the light-up feature. That combination is doing real work, not just decorating the box.

🐻 FNaF Endo-Series refuses to cool off

Five Nights at Freddy’s remains the deepest collector signal in the shop. Montgomery Gator, Roxanne Wolf, Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, Toy Bonnie and Toy Freddy Endo-Series releases all recorded orders this week. That matters because the momentum is spread across several characters instead of resting on one lucky SKU.

Collector takeaway: when several figures from the same line move in the same week, the line itself deserves attention. For FNaF collectors, the Endo-Series remains one of the most interesting shelves to watch.

🪄 McFarlane DC Collector Edition keeps finding buyers

Our McFarlane DC Multiverse Zatanna Collector Edition also sold this week, alongside an Elongated Man Platinum Edition. Collector Edition and Platinum releases continue to offer exactly what variant hunters like: recognizable characters, limited-feeling presentation and versions that stand apart from the standard shelf.

Collector takeaway: do not chase every variant just because the word “Platinum” is nearby. Focus on characters you actually want and versions with meaningful visual differences.

💚 Marvel Legends still has retro-card pull

A Fantastic Four Retro Collection She-Hulk moved this week, and Spider-Man 2099 also recorded a sale. Marvel Legends remains a dependable bridge between character nostalgia and modern 6-inch display collecting.

Collector takeaway: retro packaging can be part of the collectible, especially for mint-on-card collectors. If you are an opener, judge the figure. If you are a carded collector, judge the whole presentation.

🩸 Invincible’s Battle Beast leaves a mark

Super7’s Invincible Battle Beast Blood of Emsiu Splatter Deluxe also sold this week. It is a useful reminder that collector demand is not limited to the biggest evergreen brands. Distinctive characters and dramatic variants can punch above their shelf space when fandom interest and a memorable design line up.

🎯 This Week’s Logan’s Toy Chest Collector Checklist

• Watch what sells twice. One sale can be noise. Multiple products from the same line moving together is a stronger signal.
• Features beat stickers. Light-up effects, meaningful alternate parts and distinctive sculpts give anniversary and premium releases more staying power.
• Keep an eye on remaining inventory. A hot collectible is much more interesting when supply is starting to tighten.
• Collect for your shelf first. Trends are a radar, not a steering wheel.
