Monster High x Universal Monsters arrives — and moves fast

Mattel Creations launched three Monster High x Universal Monsters dolls on September 1 at 9:00 a.m. PT: Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Mummy. Each doll was listed at $44 with a limit of two per customer.

All three official pages showed sold out when checked after the launch. That does not guarantee there will never be a restock, but it does show how quickly character-driven Monster High collaborations can move. Collectors should rely on the official Mattel pages for any future status change rather than marketplace listings with higher prices.

The dolls are 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation. Each design uses details from the classic Universal horror films, including Frankenstein’s windmill handbag, Dracula’s bat-inspired accessories, and The Mummy’s sarcophagus-themed pieces.

Buffy and Angel join the Monster High Skullector line

The next confirmed Monster High event is the Buffy and Angel Doll 2-Pack. Mattel lists the set at $98, with the launch scheduled for September 4, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT.

Mattel says the first shopping window runs through September 5 at 8:59 a.m. PT for Fang Club members, while supplies last, and the item may also appear at other retailers. The set includes a 10.5-inch Buffy doll, an 11-inch Angel doll, character-specific accessories, display stands, a certificate of authenticity, and window-box packaging. The current purchase limit is two per customer.

Marvel vs. Capcom gets two new shelf pieces

Hasbro Pulse has opened preorders for two Marvel Legends releases inspired by classic Marvel video games.

The larger item is the Marvel’s Sentinel, Marvel vs. Capcom. Hasbro lists the exclusive at $99.99 and says preorders close September 7, 2026. The 11-inch figure is built for the six-inch Legends scale and includes 11 pieces, including alternate hands, a head, and a Rocket Punch arm. Hasbro also states that orders are cancellable through September 22.

The companion release is the Iron Man vs. Marvel’s Spiral 2-Pack at $59.99. It contains two six-inch figures and 21 accessories, including alternate hands, power effects, and Spiral’s six swords. Hasbro currently labels it as a new preorder, but its product page does not show a specific shipping date, so collectors should treat delivery timing as not yet announced.

Avengers: Doomsday Captain America enters preorder

Hasbro Pulse has also listed Marvel Legends Captain America from Avengers: Doomsday for $27.99. The six-inch Sam Wilson figure includes a shield and backpack. Hasbro’s current estimate says the preorder should ship approximately November 1, 2026; that date is an estimate and could change.
