Collector’s News: Spooky Season Heats Up, Sonic 35th Rolls On & Collector Drops Are Coming

Spooky season is officially here, and the collector world is starting to shift with it. Horror collectibles, anniversary releases, harder-to-find figures, and upcoming convention drops are getting more attention as we head toward October.

Here at Logan’s Toy Chest, we are seeing some of those same trends in what collectors are buying. Here is what caught our attention this week.

🎃 Jack Skellington Arrives Right on Time

Halloween is getting closer, and The Nightmare Before Christmas collectibles are starting to fit the season perfectly.

Our NECA Ultimate Jack Skellington 7-inch figure sold twice this week, and we currently have just one remaining in stock.

Jack has something many collectibles do not: he works for both Halloween and the holiday season. That gives collectors a long display window and makes him one of the pieces we will be watching as October gets closer.

🌌 Rosalina Is Quietly Becoming a Strong Seller

Not every hot collectible makes a lot of noise.

Our Super Mario Galaxy Movie Rosalina figure sold twice this week, and we currently have four remaining.

Rosalina combines a popular Nintendo character, movie-related collecting, and a more affordable price point than many premium figures. That combination can make a figure attractive to both serious collectors and people simply looking for a great display piece or gift.

She is definitely staying on our collector radar.

⚡ Sonic's 35th Anniversary Momentum Continues

Sonic continues to be one of the biggest stories around Logan’s Toy Chest.

Our 35th Anniversary Collector's Edition Metal Sonic with light-up eyes sold again this week, continuing the strong interest we have seen around Sonic's anniversary collectibles. We currently have three remaining in stock.

The anniversary celebration is also continuing outside our store, with new Sonic merchandise and special releases keeping collectors watching for what comes next.

For Sonic fans, 2026 is turning into a year with plenty to chase.

👻 Five Nights at Freddy’s Endo-Series Keeps Moving

FNaF collectors are not slowing down either.

The Endo-Series continues to generate sales for us, and we still have several different characters and variations available.

One interesting part of the Endo-Series is that it encourages collectors to look beyond a single character. Different versions, character combinations, and Endo builds give fans reasons to continue expanding their collection instead of stopping after one figure.

That makes FNaF one of the collectible lines we will continue watching closely.

🏙️ Convention Season Is About to Get Interesting

Another big collector season is approaching: New York Comic Con.

October convention season usually brings a fresh wave of exclusives, limited editions, special variants, and retailer drops. Funko and other collectible companies are already giving collectors reasons to watch upcoming releases closely.

This is the time of year when something that looks easy to find on Thursday can suddenly become much harder to locate by the weekend.

We will be watching the upcoming releases and trying to bring worthwhile finds into Logan’s Toy Chest when the numbers and availability make sense.

🔎 What We're Watching Next

Heading into the final days of September and the beginning of October, our collector radar is focused on Halloween and horror collectibles, Sonic 35th Anniversary releases, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Super Mario collectibles, and upcoming convention exclusives.

We are also keeping an eye out for those sleeper figures that collectors sometimes overlook at first. Rosalina is a good example. The biggest headline does not always become the strongest seller.

As always, inventory on collectible items can change quickly, especially when we only have a few available.
